Question: If you had the money, what is the first thing you would do to improve your living condition?

Response:

• Toilet as first priority – 38 families.
• Drinking Water as first priority – 67 families.
• Health as first priority – 15 families.

Note:

90 percent families do not have proper toilets. Those who gave first priority to water and health also do not have a toilet.

The remaining 10 percent of families with toilets share it with two or three other households. According to them, shared toilets are less desirable as no one likes to maintain them.

Question : If you are required to contribute to a community service project, in what way would you choose to do so?

Response :

• Offer my labor to work – 80 percent of families
• Give money/materials – 20 percent of families
• Survey also notes that another N.G.O. had conducted a similar survey earlier, but no works were carried out.
