Nepali Families Bring About Change

MAYALPANI VILLAGE: SANITATION IN PROGRESS

The project is carried out in clusters of about 5 families at a time. 10 toilets have been constructed and another 90 are on the way. From the look on the faces of the participants and the speed at which each toilet is completed, you can see they are highly responsive and excited with the project. At last, their very own toilet for the first time.

WTJ TRAINING CENTRE: VILLAGE STAIRWAY

Our NGO partner – True Leadership Harvest Centre, needs a basic stairway to their training centre. As it is located in a hilly region, there is no road to it except bare footpaths, which turn muddy and slippery whenever it rains. In December, with neighbours pitching in, a 1.5m wide, 32m long brick stairway was constructed along the steepest end of the common footpath leading to the training centre. Now everyone within the village benefits from the stairway.
