Crossed The Halfway Mark
KAVRE, NEPAL: REBUILDING UPDATE 137 out of our target 250 houses are rebuilt. Our team has done very well in keeping to the budget of SGD2,700 per house. As more people receive compensation funds, many beneficiaries are able to put up walls, doors and windows to their house frames. It is a joy to walk through the 9 villages that we are engaged with. Their appreciative smiles show that the project is bringing Hope and Optimism back to the country, one family at a time.
Since our last update, we have received additional SGD20,000, making it a total amount of SGD560,000 for 250 houses. All we need is another SGD115,000 to complete it. A very big and heartfelt “Thank you” for contributing to this cause!
