1. Go to Admin > Structure > Revolution Sliders
2. From the list of sliders, click on #3 Home-alt-slider. This is the name of the Slider that is enabled on the homepage.
You will be taken to the Slide Editor panel.
The first section shows a row of slides each represented by a thumbnail. Every slide is configurable and comes with its own set of text and/or image.
3. To remove/delete a Slide, simply hover on the slide's thumbnail, and click on 'delete' (from the selection of operation that appears when you hover on the thumbnail).
4. There will be times you may just want to disable a slide or temporarily remove it from display without actually deleting it from the system. You can also do this by simply clicking on the red 'disable' icon you can find on the upper right part of the image. The icon isn't obvious right away, but if you hover on that area, you will see a green circle with a check mark appear (indicating the slide is enabled) and beside it on the left is the 'disable' icon. Click it to disable the slide and it will be excluded from what shows up in the Slider.
5. To add a new slide, click on the 'Plus' icon that comes right after the last slide thumbnail.
6. Alternatively (and what is recommended), you can just duplicate an existing slide so you can inherit its settings. To do so, hover on an existing slide, and click on 'duplicate'.
Once a new slide is duplicated, update the slide name by directly clicking on the slide name/label and edit the name.
7. Next, you would want to update/replace the background image of your new slide. Click on your newly created slide to make sure it is the active editable slide.
Right below the section of slide thumbnails, is a set of tabs:
- Main background
- General settings
- Thumbnail
- Slide Animation
- Link & SEO
- Nav Overwrite
8. The tab panel active by default is 'Main Background'. The panel comes with yet another set of settings menu (Source, Source Settings, Filters, Parallax/3D, Ken Burns). Make sure you are working with the settings for 'Source' and on the first option labeled 'Main/Background Image' click on the blue button that says 'Media Library'.
9. A popup 'image upload form' will appear. Select 'Upload Files' to upload new image from your computer. Make sure you adhere to the prescribed size of images for the Slider. (See Prescribed Image Sizes)
10. Click on 'Insert' to attach the image.
11. Save the Slider by hovering on the green tab (with disk icon) that can be found on the top area of the page and clicking on it when it expands.
