Putting Site on Maintenance Mode

To put the site on Maintenance Mode...

Go to Admin > Configuration > Development > Maintenance Mode
Tick the box labeled ‘Put site into Maintenance mode’.
Click Save Configuration
Now when somebody visits the site, all they will see is a page that says the site is under maintenance.
To take site out of maintenance mode, simply untick the same box and save configuration.
